Second Dakar for Carlos
Carlos Ambrósio, 43 years old, is a Rally pilot whose main objective is the experiences with which the Dakar and Rally provide the participants. Carlos was present in many competitions and obtained excellent results: eight editions of the Rally dos Sertões, completing all of them and obtaining great results - in 2004 (fourth place in the Production category and eighth place in the Overall), 2005 (second place in the Production Open category and seventh place in the Overall), 2006 (fourth place in the Super Production Open category and twenty-second place in the Overall) and in 2008 (fourth place in the Super Production Open category and seventeenth place in the Overall). He also participated in the Brazilian Rally Championship (2004 and 2005), and in 3 editions of Por Las Pampas Rally, winning first place in the Production 450 category in 2004 and also in the Super Production 450 category. In 2005, due to an accident, Carlos Ambrósio was not able to complete the race. In 2007, he participated in the 29th Rally Lisboa Dakar coming in 50th place in the overall bike category.
