For almost a month a team of ten valiant gentlemen, shrewd connoisseurs of Dakar, take to the road as scouts to conduct a series of decisive reconnaissance expeditions for the rally. The aim is to define the route precisely and to build the roadbook in detail. Every day, the team members, led by Etienne Lavigne, send back news, offer an insight into their feelings and provide web surfers with a foretaste of the next Dakar.
