Joseph Busquets: « I want to battle and have some fun”
In his native village of Sant Joan de los Abadesses, he was nearly an idol. Joseph Busquets was the best rider among all his friends. He quickly won the junior Cataluña and Spanish championships. His future was clearly very promising. A road accident brought an end to his career when he was just 19. He was paralysed but his burning passion for all things mechanic was still alit. He continued to prove his driving mastery. This year he is teaming with Oriol Mas, an extraordinary co-driver, who is a master of the art of vintage car restoration, specializing in World War II era vehicles.
