Milda Petrus: “The Dakar has become a necessity”
Between the Milda - Gintas Petrus couple and the Dakar, there is a love story. A real romance. The two Lithuanians met in 2001 on a ferryboat while they were both going to attend the start of the event. For these two motorsports fanatics, the passion was immediate. Two years later they decided to try the Dakar adventure together with a goal to reach the finish line in Sharm el Cheikh. It was actually on the occasion of their arrival in the Egyptian resort that they decided to formalize their union by getting married for better and for worst. They’re back this year and will try to reach Senegal’s capital. A good occasion for them to forget about their every day life and their mineral water company. A good opportunity as well to enjoy the landscapes of a continent where the weather conditions are slightly different to those of their native country.
