Georges Marques: “To make it before the clock stops”
Over a quarter of a century after the end of its production, the famous Citroën 2 CV still resists and will again be present on the start line of the 2007 Dakar thanks to the passion of two fans of the legendary vehicle: Georges Marques and Cyril Ribas. After the failure of 2005, the duo went back to work to prepare a car that would this year be a lot more competitive and ready to take on the sand dunes on the road to Dakar. Obviously aiming at a good position overall is out of the question, the goal is really to entertain the other competitors and the spectators, and of course do their best to try and reach the finish line in Senegal’s capital.
