Assistance vehicle rates
The vehicle lump sum for all categories has been enhanced with new items: the IriTrack and Sentinel systems.

In order for your enrolment to be valid, each crew must therefore pay for:

A vehicle lump sum (one per vehicle, rates according to category)
Registration fees (variable according to the category of the vehicle and the number in the team)

e.g. for a Car team with one driver and one co-driver, you must pay for 1 Car vehicle lump sum and 2 Car registration fees (1 for each team member).

These rates include

• Sporting fees
• Transportation of vehicle and people between Europe and Africa
• Bivouac meals in Africa
• The Insurances policy includes the Circulation Civil Responsibility and the Repatriation - Medical Insurance during the whole event.
• The Bivouac at the Pink Lake and the Sunday evening party in Dakar for the competitor and his family.

These rates do not include

• Visa costs (mandatory)
• Satellite telephone (mandatory)
• Fuel
• Repatriation of vehicle if abandoned during the race
• Travel costs (VSO lump sum, return plane from Dakar, board & accommodation in Europe and on arrival).


Reimbursement

If the race vehicle is abandoned before arriving in Mauritania (abandoned in Europe or Morocco), a lump sum compensation of :

• €1,000 for car assistance vehicles
• €2,000 for 4x4 truck assistance vehicles
• €3,000 for 6x6 truck assistance vehicles

will be paid per vehicle if the crew decides not to make it to the arrival by road to benefit from the “return boat” service (Dakar - France) included in the vehicle lump sum.


NB: any failure to pay will prohbit participation in the rally for the next 5 years
