Dear broadcasters,

We are very pleased to prepare with you the 2006 Euromilhões Dakar Rally!


We will be in contact with you during the whole preparation time. Our aim is to help you the best way possible, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us as often as needed.

You will find on this web page, which will be updated very regularly, 2 types of documents:
  1. The compulsory documents to fill in and send back to us. All these documents are very important to us in order to improve our services and provide you with the best material possible in accordance with your requirements. We ask for your entire co-operation to fill all the documents as soon as possible. It is in our and YOUR interest.
  2. The informative documents (organisation of the TV production, logistics, bivouac, medical information, etc). We ask you to take time for reading them carefully and follow the instructions, mainly for security reasons and mainly for TV channels sending a crew on site.
Once again, feel free to contact us if you need anything regarding the preparation of your 2006 Euromilhões Dakar.

LOGO AND RALLY PLATE / LOGO ET PLAQUE RALLYE DAKAR
  • DAKAR “CHEICH” LOGO / LE « CHEICH » DAKAR

    Within the exclusive framework of TV graphics, the logo of the Dakar “Cheich” logo can be used by itself.
    Dans le cadre exclusif de l'habillage TV le « Cheich » Dakar peut être utilisé seul.



    The logo and the word “Dakar” have to be used together. Do not split the logo and the word “Dakar”.
    Le logo et le mot « Dakar » ne peuvent être dissociés.




    Use on coloured backgrounds / Applications sur fonds de couleurs

    On a dark background, the white logo is to be used. On a light background, the brown or black logo is suitable - your preference will go towards the brown logo which is the Euromilhoes Dakar Rally institutional logo.
    Sur un fond de couleur foncé, on utilisera le logotype blanc.
    Sur un fond de couleur clair, le logotype marron ou noir - votre préférence ira au logotype marron qui est le logotype institutionnel du rallye Euromilhões Dakar.

  • RALLY PLATE / PLAQUE RALLYE

    The rally plate can be used for TV graphics on animations but cannot be dissociated from the official sponsor of the Dakar.
    La plaque rallye peut être utilisée pour les habillages TV et des animations, mais ne peut pas être dissociée du partenaire titre du Dakar.

BROADCAST COMPOSITE LOGOS / LOGO COMPOSITE DIFFUSEURS
    A specific system has been set up for co-branding. It should enable official broadcasters to be associated with and inseparable from the Dakar brand identity.

    Un système spécifique a été mis en place pour le co-branding, il doit permettre aux diffuseurs officiels d'être associés et indissociables de l'identité du Dakar.

  • PUTTING TOGETHER THE COMPOSITE LOGO

    • The most frequent case A / Le cas marjoritaire A

    The design for the most frequent case juxtaposes the two brand identites in two separate quares separated by a rule.
    La construction du cas majoritaire juxtapose les deux identités dans deux carrés séparés par un filet.

    Minimum length d = 20 mm
    Taille minimale d = 20 mm


    Smallest size: Font Stone Sans Medium – Body text 5 pt
    En taille minimale Police : Stone Sans Medium - Corps 5 pt

    • Special case B / Le cas exceptionnel B

    However, for brand identities that are too large and cannot be reduced, special case B may be applied.
    Néanmoins pour les identités trop larges et non compressibles le cas exceptionnel B peut être appliqué.


    Minimum length d = 20 mm
    Taille minimale d = 20 mm

    If the broadcaster's logo is unreadable in the c square of the most frequent design, increase the size of c by half again.
    Si le logotype associé est illisible dans le carré c du cas majoritaire, on ajoute 1/2 c.

    For TV broadcasters, the only “TEXTE” you can integrated is “Official Broadcaster”.
    Dans le cas des diffuseurs TV, le « TEXTE » que vous devez intégrer est : « Diffuseur Officiel ».



  • COLOURS / COULEURS



  • PRINT STAND OFF AREA / ZONE DE PROTECTION

    In all cases, the print stand off area around the composite logo should be a margin of 1/3 c.

    Dans tous les cas la zone de protection autour du logotype composite sera constituée d'une marge de 1/3 c.








  • POSITIONING RULES / RÈGLES DE PLACEMENT

    The composite logo should be placed on the bottom right of the layout.

    Le logotype composite se placera en bas à droite dans la mise en page.
