A.S.O.

A.S.O.Design and project management of complete solutions
for the organisation of sporting events

For the Tour de France, Paris-Nice, Paris-Roubaix, the Paris-Dakar, the Paris Marathon and the French Golf Open de France de Golf, there is just one organiser of all these internationally known and recognised events: the Amaury Sport Organisation. This Our dynamic company's teams are all focused on the same goals: organising and developing quality competitions respecting the values and ethics of sports, with long-term dedication.

Recognised know-how
A subsidiary of the independent press group, Groupe Amaury, owner of L'Equipe, Le Parisien, France Football and Vélo Magazine, A.S.O. forms a genuine team of professionals marshalling all the skills required for creating and organising major sporting events. A.S.O. continuously works to improve the performance and attraction of competitions, and to ensure they are broadcast to the widest possible national and international audience.
Whether working on competition design with sports federations and official institutions (ministries, local governments) or organising production and distribution of related merchandise, as well as partnership development, logistics, the media, public relations, production and commercialisation of television programmes, A.S.O. makes a commitment to providing a complete and consistent response to partners' expectations and those of all sports fans, for each event.

Bringing out the best in sports
A.S.O. has great respect for the spirit of sports, which translates into a long-term commitment. Rather than using sport as a vehicle for pure media operations, A.S.O. events offer spectators regular and authentic sports gatherings they can identify with and remain loyal to. A.S.O has every intention of maintaining its tried and true policies to conquer untapped audiences through a two-part strategy of consolidating existing events and developing both “traditional” sports as well as newer ones. A.S.O. is achieving its development goals by creating new competitions, such as the Tour of Qatar in 2002, or the 2003 equestrian event the World Driving Harness Championship, while integrating existing ones like the Paris-Nice, the Tour of Faso or the French Golf Open de France de Golf.
