Registration conditions for 2005 are the same as last year:
TARIFFS HAVE NOT CHANGED.
Before your registration can be accepted, each team must have paid:
• The vehicle flat charge (one for each vehicle, tariffs based on category)
• Entry fees (variable according to the category of vehicle and the number of team members)
For example: if you are an auto team with a driver and a co-driver you have to pay 1 auto vehicle flat rate and 2 Auto entry fees (one for each team member). |

The tariffs include:
• Sporting dues
• Vehicle and personal transport between Spain and Africa
• Catering in the bivouacs in Africa
• Insurance, medical repatriation and-on-the spot treatment during the race
• The lunch/prize-giving ceremony at the finish
• GPS location
• Return boat trip from Dakar
The tariffs do not include:
•
Visa expenses (compulsory)
•
Satellite telephone (compulsory)
• Fuel
• Repatriation of the vehicle in the event of abandonment during the race
• Trip expenses (trip flat rate, return plane trip from Dakar, accommodation/food in Europe and at the finish).
Reimbursement
In the event the vehicle is abandoned during the race
before the finish in Mauritania (abandoned in Spain or Morocco), a flat rate payment of:
• 1 000 € for assistance cars,
• 2 000 € for 4-wheel truck assistance vehicles,
• 3 000 € for 6-wheel truck assistance vehicles,
is due for each vehicle if the team decides not to go on to Dakar by road and take the “boat return” service (Dakar-France) included on the vehicle flat rate.
NB: payment default will result in a ban on participation in the rally for the next five years.
