BARCELONE - SITES AND SCHEDULES


Administrative checks and scrutineering
You will receive a convocation stating the day and exact time you must pass administrative checks and scrutineering. Failure to respect convocation times will incur financial penalties.

Administrative checks and scrutineering will take place from 15h00 on the 28/12 to 19h00 on the 30/12 in the Palau Sant Jordi, next to the Olympic Stadium, in the heights of Barcelona.
You will have on-site access to a fast food area and a VIP hospitality area, to which you may invite your sponsors (information available at the end of October).


Unloading Car Park
This may be used from the morning of the 28/12 to the morning of the 31/12.
It will be situated in Sot del Migdia, 1km from the Palau Sant Jordi.
This car park, situated just before the scrutineering area, will allow you to:
   • Unload your trailers.

Parking for caravans and mobile homes in Montjuic zone

   • PARKING IGLESIAS, Avenuda Montanys, s/n
   • PARKING IGLESIAS, Pasaje Can Clos, s/n
   • ANTIC PARC D'ATRACCIONS ( Free but but not guarded ! )


Parcs Fermés
Vehicles are placed in the parc fermé after scrutineering from the morning of the 29/12 to the morning of the 31/12. They leave the parc for the special on the 31st, return to it after the special, and leave it for the last time on the 01/01.
In the assistance category, people are authorised to enter and to exit the parc fermé on foot, after leaving their vehicle there.

SCHEDULE

~ 28th December ~

15h00: opening of administrative checks.
19h00: end of convocations.
22h00: end of scrutineering.

If you pass administrative checks and scrutineering, you must leave your vehicle in a Guarded Car Park, within the Palau Sant Jordi. On the morning of the 29th, you will collect your check-in card at the final control, and you will then place your vehicle in the Parc Fermé.

~ 29th, 30th December ~

08h00: opening of administrative checks and scrutineering.
19h00: end of convocations.
22h30: end of scrutineering.

On the route which will take you from scutineering to the parc fermé, you will check in at a CP at the Plaça de les Drassanes, which will allow the people of Barcelona to watch the Rally vehicles crossing their town.


~ 31st December ~

Briefing
This will be held in the Palais des Sports, 400 m from the Parc Fermé.
The presence of assistance teams is not compulsory. Information concerning Europe will be distributed to them at scrutineering along with the road books.
08h45: doors open.
10h00: end of briefing.

Super special
This will be situated between the area built for the Olympic Games and the Forum.
Approximately 4 km long, it will be run on the beach (a stretch of 3 beaches). The last section will be an artificial route of soil.
After the special all vehicles will return to the parc fermé (race and assistance).

Assistance vehicles
9h00 to 10h30: assistance vehicles will leave the parc fermé for the assistance parc, situated at the exit to the special. The doors to the hall will be closed at 10h30, and reopened at 12h00, for the return to the parc fermé.
19h00: the doors to the hall will be closed.

Race vehicles
10h45: start of the 1st competitor from the parc fermé
11h15: start of the super special
16h15: arrival of the last competitor
19h00: last vehicles return to the parc fermé
A VIP hospitality area will be situated at the finish of the special. You may invite your sponsors to watch the 1st special in privileged conditions (information available at the end of October).

Assistance Parc
This will be situated in the Forum Car Park, near to the exit of the special.
Motorcycle Trunks will not be available here.


~ 1st January ~

The Starting Podium will be situated at the Plaça de Espanya, an extension of the parc fermé.
10h00: first motorcycle leaves the podium.
17h30: last truck leaves the podium.

Motorcycles will start in reverse race number order, followed by cars in race number order, and finally trucks in race number order.
19h00: arrival of the first competitor in Granada.
02h00 on the 2nd: arrival of the last competitor in Granada.

You will then cover a liaison stage of 920 km to Granada, and will check in at a CP in Castellon. The CP Podium will be situated Avenida del Mar in Castellon.
No special will be run on the 1st January. Motorcycles and quads must cover the liaison stage by road and must not be overloaded.
