2005 TV coverage
For this 2005 edition the Rally will again enjoy exceptional media coverage both in France and across the world.


In France
The France Télévisions teams on the bivouac will broadcast daily programs:
• A daily program from Monday to Friday at 6pm on France 2, on Saturdays at 3 pm also on France 2 and on Sundays at 4 pm on France 3.
• The “Bivouac” program will reappear on France 2 in the night time TV slot.
• The Journal du Dakar will be broadcast on France 3 every evening at 8.15pm from the 31st of December.

International TV Coverage
More than 70 channels and broadcasting networks will relay daily updates of the race in 170 countries thanks to images provided by A.S.O. (over 80 hours of programs produced in 2004) and transmitted from the bivouac.
Over 50 people representing 21 international TV teams will be on site for the production of Dakar programs devoted to the progress of their national competitors and stars and presented by their leading journalists.

New this year: OLN in the USA, J-Sports in Japan, HRT in Croatia and Canal 7 in Argentina will broadcast the programs produced by A.S.O.
