Mathieu Serradori: "We are where we should be"

Mathieu Serradori finished ninth in the stage, good enough to move up one slot in the general standings, where he now sits in ninth place.

"It was a stage raced at a high pace, with changes of direction and lots of vegetation, so we had one or two bumps, but nothing serious. We haven't had to leave the cockpit since the start of the rally. Not having punctured at all is quite an achievement. We've been in the top 10 for three or four days now, we are where we should be, in the mix. It's always tricky to find your pace in the first week. There was one day when we were scared out of our wits because the buggy overheated, but our mechanics did their job and we went back on the attack in stages 8, 9 and 10. Our strategy is to never stop. We would like to see some difficulties to gain time on our direct rivals, namely Przygoński, Vasilyev and Prokop, and we want to go after them fair and square because Loïc and I feel fresh. We're not giving up."
