The Brazilian, who won the category in 2018, achieved the second best time on stage 8.

“At last we’ve finished one stage with no problems. We had no problems with the machine or with the navigation. The tracks were really fast and there were some difficult dunes, level 1, 2 or 3 where some cars were stuck, it was difficult. But we had great visibility and nice high speeds… all good. We’ve had many problems on all the stages and this is the only clean one that we’ve done. I think we’ve finished in a good position, maybe the top three, but let’s see. It was good”.
