Declarations

Toby PRICE

"We had a very good start. Some waypoints were difficult to find at the beginning. The pilots who were ahead were lost, I noticed it by the tracks, but I was lucky to find them and I had a great day. Tomorrow I have to open and I'll start ahead, so I'll try to make the best possible day and learn as much as possible before the rest of the pilots reach us. This is going to be a great training for the Dakar in January. "

Chavo SALVATIERRA

"I am very happy to win today's stage. More than a year and a half ago, and for various reasons, I had no results according to the training and work that has been done. Today I feel we started on the right path."

Orlando TERRANOVA

"The race is very nice. The track is very similar to the Dakar, to what we did in the last Dakar. We had a delay because my navigator Ronnie (Graue) broke down and we had to stop; We even thought about leaving when we did the first round. But then it got better and we were able to complete the stage."
