Between Dominique Housieaux and Jean-Michel Polato this duo is in some ways a reconciliation between hops and vineyards a coming together of north and south. This alliance is also and most especially a reunion of two experienced competitors who, combined, have more than 20 Dakars to their credit. For Dominique Housieaux, the 2007 edition has an aroma of revenge, for he couldn’t take part in 2006 following a silly motorcycle accident, in which he was riding at a blinding 5km/h! For this return to Africa, the tandem will be looking to make up for lost time and finish first in the privateer category.
