In 2004, Cornel de Villiers was the hero of his category… While ten had started the race, the quad riders started retiring one after the other on the course of one of the toughest editions. The South African was the only one to see the Lac Rose. Winner of his class, Cornel de Villiers even managed to finish 54th of the bike standings on his quad. After a three year absence when he changed machines, he’s back on the rally to manage the same kind of performance. Cornel de Villiers knows how difficult a Dakar can be.
