Massimo Chinaglia: “It won’t do any good to complain”
The least that can be said is that Italian rider Massimo Chinaglia has never been lucky on the rally. Three times, in 1998, 2000 and 2002 he lined up at the start…Three times he was forced to retire with mechanical problems. Bu the Italian is back just a few days prior to the start in Lisbon. Since some friends introduced him to the rally in the 1980’s, his dream has been to make it to Dakar. A success he would love to celebrate this year with two other competitors, his mates Paolo Turci and Carlo Alberto Migliazza who will also be competing this year. But Massimo Chinaglia prefers to cautious and take the rally day by day…maybe it’s a question of past experience?
