Renault Trucks, Official Supplier

The trucks with the rhombus have always been part of the Dakar rally's history… However, for the past few years the presence of RENAULT TRUCKS has been considerably reinforced with the arrival of the new Kerax range. This new range of multi-axles vehicles quickly became a reference for assistance teams because of its dynamic qualities and its robustness.
On the last Dakar rally, not less than 21 Kerax were engaged in the caravan, of which one 24 hour daily assistance vehicule especially engaged by RENAULT TRUCKS to ensure a full service and the maintenance awaited by its customers!
It is in this context that RENAULT TRUCKS has decided to become a partner of the rally in 2005 before becoming the official supplier of the Dakar rally in 2006.

A.S.O. (Amaury Sport Organization) will indeed equip its logistic park with a fleet of Kerax trucks in 2006 therefore benefiting from the professionalism of RENAULT TRUCKS implied by its prime role as supplier of solutions for transport and logistics.
RENAULT TRUCKS soon “Official Supplier” of the Dakar rally will intervene in an area of Northern Africa where the mark is firmly established!
